The City of San Marino Community Emergency Response Team

The City of San Marino has become part of a national network of CERT communities. The San Marino Fire Department has developed a program that is designed to help neighborhoods prepare for and respond to the aftermath of major emergencies.

If a disastrous event overwhelms or delays the community's professional response, CERT members can assist others by applying the basic response and organizational skills that they learned during training. These skills can help save and sustain lives following disaster until help arrives.

Classes are held at various times over the year. For more information call the fire department at 626-300-0735 or download the brochure.
